God's Grace

Aslarid is a fantasy world I created for one of my books! Someday I hope to finish this one 🤞  Well, considering it took about an hour, I'd say it didn't turn out terribly ;) Here's the "recipe": Put coffee grounds in a piece of paper toweling and absolutely drench it in water. Then paint a piece of paper until it's soaked in the water-coffee, occasionally splotching with another paper towel. Then blow dry until it's dry enough or semi-dry and hang it up to finish . Drop rice or popcorn kernels onto your finished paper, and trace with a Sharpie. When done, clean up the rice or popcorn kernels and put them away. You'll have a custom, one-of-a-kind fantasy map to work with, so go from there and add whatever labels, details, and names you'd like!!

Summer be here at last!!!! I guess ice cream is the official sign...? Well anyway... feels like nostaligic summers. And the flowers are in full bloom!  To be honest, fall is my favorite season aesthetically speaking, but summer is my favorite activity-wise. What's your favorite season...?

 I fell in love with Star Wars a long time ago(in a galaxy far far away). I think I was like, 7 or something. My parents showed me the originals, and neither of them cared for it. So I was too shy to say it, but I loved them, and I was counting down the days till I could ask to watch it again. All my barbies found themselves dressed up as Star Wars characters and part of my eleborate Star Wars stories. lol why does this look like it could be an album cover? Then, a long time later, my youth group was having a movie night to celebrate Star Wars day on May 5th of 2022. They were going to watch the Rise of Skywalker — the last Star Wars movie. So I had a lot of catching up to do. I watched the Force Awakens on May 3rd, and I really liked it. But I wouldn't say I had fallen in love with it yet. My cat, Sophie, discovered a peaceful little grove in the trees in the backyard. Probably be chilling back there a bit from  now on. As long as the  neighbours don't start setting  off fireworks every time, that is. Looks can be deceiving. Believe it or not, that's not a birch forest... and that's not a wildcat.

  My super-simple fall aesthetic “pumpkin” chai recipe: 1 chai tea bag Sprinkle of ground cinnamon Sprinkle of ground cardamom Sprinkle of ground cloves Sprinkle of ground ginger 1 Tbsp Sweet creamer (a bit more tastes better, but it’s not good for me. Big sad) Boil water. Remove from heat and steep the tea bag in hot water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag, add spices, stir, add creamer, stir, and enjoy!

  Good morning! 7am mornings in the summer are beautiful. I got my favorite chai (perfect for chilly mornings — I’ll post the recipe bc why not), my Bible, and a blanket, and then I went outside to spend some much needed time outside with God. I’m not even going to pretend I’m perfect and I’ve got this all figured out. I’m going to be real with you guys. Today has been rough. Yesterday, too. I don’t usually do stuff like this — waking up early and all that — I’m not an early bird, not even close, and most days I don’t even wake up to my alarm(who am I kidding, I never do). But yesterday afternoon, my older sister Hannah left for camp, where she’s going to be working full-time this summer. We’re really close, and having her graduate and leave all this last weekend was, well… rough . So part of the reason I woke up so early this morning was to spend some much needed time with my Heavenly Father, who knows me better than I know myself.
