God's Grace

okay, this is what happened... my younger sister Elaina and my younger brother Sean were at home with me watching Spider-man and naturally Elaina and I got a little hyper towards the end. I started acting out specific scenes in front of the tv and she had the bright idea to take a picture of it as if I were the other charatcer. Mind you, we were watching Tobey Maguire's Spider-man 2. Lots of lovely sus scenes to act out. We took the pictures and I decided that in the grand scheme of things-- there are far better Spider-men to be kissing. So um... we pop Andrew Garfield's TASM2 in and I quickly find one of my favorite scenes. Then I have the ingeniuous idea to edit these, since they already look fantastic. They turned out... a little too good. Enough talk, I'll let you see, but don't judge because I'll probably do it again and get the iconic upside down kiss😅🙄 Let's be real guys this is what happens when someone leaves me home alone with my sister lol. i hate h...

So I was watching Across the Spider-verse yesterday, and during the scene where Miles is captured by earth 42 Unlce Aaron and tied up, I caught a glimpse of something. I rewatched it today and I caught it again, confirming my suspicions... behind uncle Aaron is some kind of jar with the numbers "42" on it. Either this is just part of the art... or earth 42 Aaron knows about the multiverse and their place in it.  This would actually make sense. Earth 42 Aaron figured out that Miels wasn't his Miles pretty fast. If he was already aware of the spider-verse, to some degree at least, he would've been expecting someone to show up eventually. Idk, what do you think? Maybe we'll find out in the next movie, Beyond the Spider-verse! Look carefully... do you see the 42?🤯

Guuyyyssss whhhaattt... So in the scene where Miles is first discovering his powers in Into the Spider-verse, he's looking through his contacts for someone to tell. As he's scrolling, we see all sorts of different names... one of them being Jessica Drew. We know that Jessica Drew is Spider-woman in Across the Spider-verse. It's a very small detail but apparently... Miles knows Jessica Drew in his universe, where she's not a superpowered crime fighter. That's such a crazy little detail that I don't think has ever been noticed before(nothing on the internet suggests it has!) Weird!!

Hey guys... I know it's been a hot minute since I've posted anything, but in my defense it's been a busy summer and Blogger is acting all funky. Still. But I decided it's worth it to try and make a post despite it. Work with what we got you know. Well anyway... the last post I attempted to write was a movie review on the mind-blowing film released this year, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse. Following Miles Morales(Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy(Hailee Steinfeld), we returned to the world of the spiderverse. There was some astounding animation and complex plot and real emotion and deep characters and overall... let's just say a month later it's still my favourite film ever . So then... it's a bit late for the movie review, but I'm gonna release some of my fanart since I've been doing a lot of that lately. Enjoy! :)
