ASOUE - The End

 me just rambling and venting abt the a series of unfortunate events finale-

this show had no right to make me feel so much 😭 i finished it last night and it was so... so good. i wasn't expecting them to get a happy ending, of course, so when they semi-did, it was a real shocker. I cried when kit and count olaf died and also i just kept crying throughout the entire episode cuz i didn't want it to end. also... kit could've easily lived. according to my sister hannah, who's in nurse training rn, when you're in labour you can still eat. she could have easily taken a bite of that apple and been just fine... and she didn't have to leave Beatrice orphaned on an abandoned island with orphans.... and no adults.

although, according to the web, the Bauelaires didn't really get a happy ending. I mean, besides the fact that everyone they had ever met died or betrayed them in the hotel denoument(most likely), they lost their parents and all potential guardians, and their friends, the Quagmires, whom they didn't know if they were safe or not... besides all that, apparently, when they left the island a year after kit and olaf died, their ship sunk and they all died. that's why beatrice went to find lemony snicket alone... although i don't like this idea, bc of all that they survived, including rowing a boat through a literal hurricane in the lake of lacramose leaches, well... it doesn't seem likely that they would just die. so i'm gonna say that they found the quagmires and it was awkward with Quigley and Duncan and Violet, but Violet ended up with Quigley and Klaus ended up with Isadora and Sunny... lol Sunny didn't end up with Duncan. Sunny and Beatrice became best friends. :)

I'm not usually one to root for happy endings, actually... i love a good sad ending, the tragicer the better... but the Baudelaire kids have been through wayyyy too much stuff already, and i think they really deserve a happy ending, because as the title says, it was quite the series of unfortunate events. so there... i said it... i wish they had a happier ending. bleh.
